Obituary of Casey Jay Weishar-Allegretto
Mr. Casey Jay Weishar-Allegretto, 27, of Spring Hills, FL, formerly of Stamford, died suddenly on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Spring Hills, FL.
Born on August 16, 1989, Casey grew up in Stamford. He attended Stamford Central School and DCMO BOCES.
Casey was a vibrant and passionate young man, taking each challenge and obstacle in life and turning it around. He loved to fix things for people, tinkering with cars and engines, however his greatest joy was his family and friends, fiercely loyal to all, through any crisis, ups and downs, he was always there to celebrate of support with a quick smile, stupid joke, or friendly openness. He was always surrounded by close friends where ever he was. Even when life's demands took much of his time, especially following the birth of his two children, he still found time to come back to Stamford for family functions and celebrations. Casey was an amazing and caring father, passing his unconditional love on to his girls.
He is survived by his fiancée and companion for 11yrs, Ashley Barr Porter; daughters: Belladonna Marie (6) and Caterina Ann (3); mother: Amy Weishar; father: Joseph (Tracey) Allegretto; brothers: Jared Weishar, Sean Callagy and Michael Callagy; step-father: Kevin Callagy; step-brothers: Chris Callagy and KC Callagy; uncles: Jason, Joseph and Jim; aunts: Sarah and Chris; many cousins, one special cousins: Hailey; nephew: Noah; and numerous friends, many he considered family, especially Jonathan Wisniewski, who he shared many adventures with.
Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 5-8PM on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 40 Cornell Ave., Hobart. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Thursday, March 9, at Sacred Heart Church, Stamford, with the Rev. Michael Cambi, celebrant. Burial will be held in the spring at the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Stamford.
