Obituary of Louise R. Eisel

Louise R. Eisel, 90, of Harpersfield passed away Friday morning, January 22, 2016 at AO Fox Hospital in Oneonta, surrounded by her family. Born on May 18, 1925 in Queens, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Longinatti) Capella. Louise was married on February 27, 1949 to Fred Eisel, he passed away in 1990. She and Fred moved to Harpersfield from Spotswood, NJ in 1971, where the couple operated the Harpersfield General Store until 1981. She loved serving and visiting the people of Harpersfield area at the store and often many of her customers became good friends. Louise loved to cook and enjoyed preparing large meals and entertaining. Above all else Louise loved her family and spending time with them. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother and great grandmother. Her Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren were the love of her life, She will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her sons: James (Margie) Eisel of Hapersfield and John (Sherri) Eisel of Damascus, OR; daughter-in-law: Ginger(Tom)Ford of NYC; grandchildren: James (Geanine) Eisel, Jr. of Grand Gorge, Jason (Heidi) Eisel of Hapersfield, Jamie (Mindy) Eisel of Oceanside, NY, Darren (Lisa) Eisel of Oceanside, NY and Dakota Eisel of Damascus, OR; twelve great-grandchildren, Jordan, Meghan, Sydney, Max, Madison, Cory, Ryan, Liam, Coty, Taylor, Noah and Chase; and several nieces, nephews and good friends. Lousie was predeceased by her husband, Fred; and a son: Edmund Eisel. Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 3PM-7PM on Tuesday, January 26 at MacArthur Funeral Home, 40 Cornell Ave., Hobart. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Wednesday, January 27 at Sacred Heart Church, Stamford with the Rev. Michael Cambi celebrating.
