Condolences
I send sincere & loving thoughts to Judy's family. She and I were best friends and traveling companions in Germany. I have many wonderful memories of those time. & was always amazed at her many talents.
May she rest well in the arms of her Savior whom she served so faithfully.
Peace.
I am with heavy heart to have just found out of this loss of the most wonderful person I have ever known the syders have taught me some much when I was little I will always cherish my memories of Mrs. Syder of being so full of joy and happiness doing so much for others and playing the most wonderful songs I love and miss you Mrs. Syder rip
She came into our lives as an outsider. Before we knew it we fell in love with her sweetness and kindness. She quickly won our love and support. She was the best thing that ever happened to my uncle. Her keen comments helped shape his perspective and how he presented himself. She raised a wonderful family while being a military wife. Our family always looked forward to seeing her and visiting in in their lovely home. She left us way too soon, such an incredibly intelligent lady, but her memory will always linger in our hearts.
Will miss you so much, Judy. You were one of God's most fervent warriors and were used by Him in so many, many lives. Have wonderful memories of you at the Met and of your playing the piano for us but most of all your genuine warmth and love for everyone. So glad Mike and I visited you and Paul years ago at your home in the Catskills. You made us so welcome and comfortable and we will always have those cherished memories. I will miss your conversations and pictures on Facebook but most of all your wonderful Christmas letters which brought joy to us every year. The world was a much better place with you in it but now God has taken you home to be with Him. I am reminded of the Bible verse and song we used to sing, "God who started the work in me will be faithful to complete it in me", and so has with your life and your gifts. Our prayers go out to Paul and your family. Much Love!

I remember Judy's smiling face at Metropolitan Baptist in Houston from the piano to janitorial supervisor and everything in between. She was a tremendous friend to my loving late wife, a prayer warrior during the tough times leading up to her passing. I can only imagine what a grand reunion there was in heaven last Saturday when Judy arrived. I will miss those very detailed Christmas letters keeping me informed about her family. I remember Suzanne's wedding. There weren't many of Judy's co-workers from the Met there, but Nancy and I were one of those special guests. We were blessed to have know her.
My prayers go out to Paul and the entire Snyder family. I pray that God's grace with bath your family these next days and that the memories of Judy sustain you.
Paul, There are no words that will fill the void or relieve your pain. Just know that everyone who ever knew her shares your grief. You and the family will remain in my prayers, and she will remain in my heart. Love to you.
Judy, thank you for always being lovely. Your smile was warm and inviting and your heart full of love! God Bless your journey home and know that though we will miss you, we know you are in the arms of the Blessed Redeemer and at peace! Love Miss Kim
I will always have great memories of Mr. And Mrs. Snyder when I and my family lived in Grand Gorge, Attending Pilgrim Holiness church. We sat in front of them, Her piano playing , singing and testimony will never be forgotten, She is a inspiration to everyone in and out of church. Lord Bless and keep her and her family.
A more kind and loving heart is hard to find. Cards and Christmas gifts arrived at our door for our 3 grandchildren and she took the time to come and meet them. Judy you were a very special lady. We will miss your lovely smile. Tom and Carol Renz
My Aunt Judith Snyder never changed her willingness and delight in helping others. Whether through her many talents or simple act of kindness, she constantly brought beauty and kindness to all she met. Her ready smile was always instant and genuine as were her sympathies to those in need of it. The last time I was in her home, she surprised me with a birthday cake and gift, I was delightfully surprised by her thoughtfulness; but that was her normal.
She will leave a giant hole in our family and I'm sure for her many friends, and certainly for her children and husband. We all are blessed because she lived and gave of herself.
I grew up in Grand Gorge and knew Judy from the Hardware Store. When my family moved to Harpersfield and I began bumping into this lady at the Post Office and then at the Town Hall where I worked, she was so familiar. One day I asked her if she had lived in Grand Gorge ? She said that yes, she had. I asked if it had been over the Hardware Store? She said yes. She was surprised to think that I had remembered her from all those years ago. It was so nice to see her every few days and to chat for a few minutes. I will truly miss her. Christine Faoro Bellinger
What a lovely and gifted woman. I shall always cherish my memories of weekly "music meetings" in her living room, she on piano and I singing. Her taking painstaking care in intervening days to rearrange songs into my range as we both commented "the tenors get everything, nothing is arranged for bass!" Special times and a special place in my heart.
I so loved Judy as we became fast friends in Houston while we were at The Met. I am going to miss her so much and keeping up with her on Facebook. Love to all your family! See you later friend!
Judy was such an accomplished musician. I enjoyed working with her at The Met. We both played organ and piano for years. Judy was a gracious and a loving friend. She played for my Mother's funeral and for our son Craig's wedding. Every time she came to Houston, she would stop by and visit. I will miss your visits Judy, but will see you again one day.
