Obituary of Thomas J. Lowry

Thomas J. Lowry, 45, of Hobart, passed away suddenly on Friday February 26, 2016. He was born on July 11, 1970 in Cooperstown, NY Thomas was served in the US Army in the early 1990's. He was a mechanic and recently had worked with Engelke Tires in Stamford. Mr. Lowry was engaged to be married to his fiancée Patricia A. Russo. He enjoyed classic and vintage cars and Rock Music, he and Patricia enjoyed attending concerts and they had met many of their favorite bands over the years, especially God Smack and Five Finger Death Punch. He also enjoyed vacationing with his family and friends, Lake George was one of his favorite places to visit. Besides his fiancée, Patricia of Hobart, Thomas is survived by his mother: Frances Lowry of Stamford; one son: Thomas K. Lowry of Hobart; step children: Christopher, Frederick and Leandra Webster all of Hobart; a sister: Mary Morgan of Georgia; a brother: Skip Lowry of Utica; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 3-5PM on Wednesday, March 2nd at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 40 Cornell Ave., Hobart, where a celebration of life will follow at 5PM.
