Obituary of Clarence Henderson

Clarence Henderson, 98, of Delhi passed away on March 4, 2016 at Crown Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Cortland. Born on September 20, 1917 in Walton, He was the son of the late George and Eunice (Gnoung) Henderson. Clarence proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII from 1942 until his honorable discharge in 1945. Mr. Henderson was a Farmer, He and his brother Louis took over the family dairy farm from their father located on Irish Hill in Delhi, which Clarence operated for many years until his retirement. Besides his parents, Clarence was predeceased by his brothers: Philip and Louis Henderson; and a sister: Catherine Kurk. He is survived by a nephew: Harry Henderson and family of Schenevus. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2PM on Monday October 10, 2016 at the Walton Cemetery, Fancher Ave., Walton. Arrangements are with MacArthur Funeral Home, Delhi.
