Obituary of Deborah Marie Armstrong

Deborah Marie Armstrong, 59, of Delhi, passed away peacefully, Thursday afternoon, Oct 17, 2013, at Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta, following a short illness. A lifelong Delhi resident, "Debbie" was born here, June 21, 1954, attended Community Living Skills Program, Walton, and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Bloomville. A happy and loving lady, she enjoyed many things; the school program, church, books, animals, shopping with her mom and sisters, watching her favorite TV programs, and spending time with her family and many friends. Surviving are her mother, Shirley (Allen) Frandsen, of Delhi; her father, Gerald Armstrong, of Hartwick; her sisters, Nancy Jacques, of Delhi, and Amy (David) Coviello, of Rosendale; nephews, Scott (Jamie) Smith, Derek (Kimberly) Smith, of Delhi, Alexander Coviello, of Rosendale; great nieces, Paisley, Piper and Sadie Smith, of Delhi; many other relatives and dear friends who loved her very much. The Episcopal Burial Office and Holy Eucharist was Monday, Oct 21, at St. Paul's Church, Bloomville, with The Rev'd. Laura Miller, Deacon Vicar, officiating. Final commendation and burial followed in the family plot, Woodland Cemetery, Delhi. Memorial contributions to A.R.C. of Delaware County, or St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Bloomville, will be appreciated. Arrangements were entrusted to Robert A. Peet, Hall & Peet Funeral Home, Delhi
