Hall & Peet Funeral Home created a Tribute Video in memory of Mr Louis R. Miele
We will dearly miss you Bunny, my sweet cousin & best friend. we will have the cherished memories of all the times we spent together. Many happy times filled with love & laughter. You were the best friend to " a June", the name you gave Marty & I'll always be " MA". the teasing name you called me.. You will be remembered as Godfather to our children & like being the brother I never had. Rest in peace we loved you Uncle Bun, Joyce & Marty .
In remembrance of my brother Bunny and reflecting on the good times we had together as a family . May he rest in peace. Vicky and brother in law Cookie.
Uncle Bunny I will miss you. All my life I knew you there was some excitement whenever I saw you. Working for you was a memory I will never forget. In all the time you have owned the farm in Bovina, the times we did come to visit, it was exciting, inspirational and welcoming. I will never forget when you took our son Angis down to one of your ponds and fed the fish. Watching him was priceless. You taught me many life lessons that I will keep with me for the rest of my life. My only regret is that I have not seen you in the past few years and as people say "don't wait, you'll miss out". Thank you for all you did for me and everything you left me.
To your family, no words are ever enough. remember the good times, bad times, all the times. Remember the memories. Remember everything he has left you. I miss you all. Maybe someday this large family / friends group will somehow get together and talk, laugh and remember memories of "Bunny".

Very saddened to hear of Lou's passing -- Bunny as we neighborhood kids knew him. He played football & baseball with us in the back field, when he wasn't working on the family farm, which was most of the time. I don't think he had as much teenage fun as the rest of us kids, because of the need to work. However, his hard work really paid off for him with the ultimate creation of Miele's Greenhouses, which became an extremely successful business.
In later life he became my brother-in-law when I married his most wonderful sister, who was the love of my life. We were all graduates of the Jonathan Dayton Regional HS class of 1953. I'm deeply saddened by the passing of both.

He was my handsome big brother that I will miss dearly. He was my go to person for gardening advice. He came to my rescue many times when I needed help with anything mechanical. I will miss your smile and your teasing, your love & advice. Love Franny
