Hall & Peet Funeral Home created a Tribute Video in memory of Mrs. Johanna "Hanna" Mason
To Hanna's loved ones:
It was our pleasure and delight on many occasions to have coffee and homemade goodies with Hanna and her Leo. Both possessed a sense of humor and told many stories about their life together. Children and grandchildren stories, working through Leo's final illness - even helping Leo slide down those steps - getting ready for the move to India - all of these are tributes to Hanna's faith InGod and the strength it gave her. Children and grandchildren, you have been blessed with a loving, vibrant mother and grandmother.

We here at Immanuel in Delhi are saddened by your loss and are praying for you. Find comfort in the promises of our Redeemer, Jesus the Lord, that he has received her into glory. I would more than honored to assist at her burial when the time is right for you all. The Lord be with you. - Pastor John Priest
Included in Johanna's obituary is a lovely tribute written by her oldest granddaughter, Kristen Wade.
I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a beautiful, pleasant woman and always had a smile for everyone. She will be missed by all. Thoughts and prayers be with you Maria and your family. Always, Sharon Mogridge
I was surprised and saddened to see Hanna's obituary in the Walton Reporter yesterday. She was a good woman and I know she loved her family very much. It was interesting and informative to read of where you all are these days and the number and names of your children. Many years ago now, I did have one "grandchild" in Sunday School occasionally. (Apologetically, I'm not sure which one, now.) I did make a baptismal banner for Tyler's daughter. I will keep you in my prayers and perhaps, if you come to Delhi for your mother's burial, I will get to see any one or more of you. Thank you for thinking of Immanuel, Delhi, for memorials to your mother. May God be your stronghold at this time of sorrow and reflection.
With love, Jean Alverson
Sorry for your loss. I remember Mrs.Mason from Delaware Academy in the early ' 80s. Prayers for all.
To ALL of Hanna's children, please know that my heart is deeply saddened this morning, reading that your wonderful mom, my wonderful friend, has passed from this life to be with Leo whom she truly adored... I have hundreds of memories from when I took her for coffee and a piece of coconut cream pie; balancing her check book for her monthly and the two "J Garcia" silk neck ties she gave me at Christmas. I've looked at her Franklin St home when driving by and wondered where and how she was... Tina, Tyler, Robert and Maria, my prayers will be with you all, asking for a deep inner peace of acceptance as you release your mom to the heavens above... God Bless you all...
