Obituary of Catherine E. Kohlmann

Catherine Kohlmann, 65, of Delhi, formerly of Brooklyn, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at O'Connor Hospital in Delhi. Born on March 30, 1950 in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (Merritt) Adams Verdon. She was a homemaker and was predeceased by her husband, Joseph. Catherine enjoyed playing bingo, cards, crocheting, sewing and needlepoint. She liked taking trips to the casino, but her greatest joy was her family, Catherine was a loving and proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children: Carol and Edward McGovern of DeLancey, Susan Kohlmann of Coal Township, PA and Daniel and Nina Kohlman of Lake Worth, FL; grandchildren: Alisha Cioc of Bethlehem, PA, Jayson Martinelli of Coal Township, PA and Daniel Kohlmann, Jr. of Ilion; great-grandchildren: Charlotte Cioc, Penelope Cioc and Skyler Rose Kohlmann; siblings: Raymond, Carolyn, Patricia, Erma and Donna. Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 4-5PM on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Hall & Peet Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Delhi, where a prayer vigil will follow at 5PM with the Rev.
