Obituary of Pauline C. Osborn

Pauline C. Osborn, 89 years old, went home to be with Jesus on June 2, 2016 at her home in Delhi, NY, surround by her 4 loving daughters. Pauline spent her life serving the Lord in whatever she did. She loved sewing and knitting and being around family and friends. She was the owner of Fashion Fabrics of Delhi and was a long time member of The United Methodist Church of Delhi (United Ministry ) and in her senior years, a member of the Treadwell United Methodist Church. Her smiling face would light up a room and her serving spirit could be counted on for most any church function. She reached out to the elderly (Marion Matthews Christmas Shopping at Countryside), comforted the sick and was devoted to her family. Even in her final days on this earth she could be seen comforting her daughters with the last ounce of energy, stroking a hand as if to say, "All will be well." Pauline's husband (Harvey) of 70 years went to heaven just two months ago and she is survived by her 4 daughters - Florence Brown (Carl), Evelyn Jacksto (Jim), Karen Osborn Gallagher (Ed), Darlene Dutko (Mike), one sister, Lillian Kinney, 17 Grandchildren, 39 Great-Grandchildren, one Great-Great Grandson, numerous nieces & nephews and countless Brothers and Sisters-In-Christ. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the United Ministry of Delhi, Church Street, Delhi, with the Rev. Elliott Oaks officiating. Arrangements are with Hall & Peet Funeral Home, Delhi. Contributions in memory of Pauline can be made to Catskill Area Hospice or United Ministry of Delhi or Treadwell United Methodist Church.
