Condolences
I was so saddened to hear that Greg passed away. I have the fondest of memories of him from my time living in Delhi and working with him on several community events through SUNY Delhi. He always had a smile on his face, a kind word to say and a funny story to tell. I recall one night where he and I found ourselves as the only "adults" for some kind of school function, I cannot recall the exact event. But what I do remember is sitting in the student cafeĢ with him keeping an eye on the students while listening to Greg entertain me with one hilarious story after another. I am really glad that I knew him and I will always remember him as being a really genuine person who cared about people and always helped everyone. Our love and prayers to his wonderful family.

So sorry for your loss. When I was at Tech, I came to know this man who always had a smile and kind words. Greg always as many who knew him know, had a boatload of compassion for all he touched. If we had more Greg's in this world it would truly be a better place. God Bless You Gregory and Rest in Peace.

I was so sorry to hear we have lost such a warm, kind gentleman and friend. I have known Greg for many years as a colleague at the college, and also as a superb MC for the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society Holiday Tree event. Greg never ceased to have a good joke, a kind word, and a great smile for everyone. He was compassionate and a joy to be around. I'm thankful to have such great memories in which he lives on. My prayers and heartfelt love to all of Greg's family. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful man with all of us. Dawn Pomeroy-Norwood
When we saw Greg at the NYS Fair many years ago, covering the SUNY Delhi booth, it was the first time Alan had met him...and Alan said he had never seen anybody so happy to be anywhere. When we moved to Franklin Street 15 years ago, Greg and Jean showed up at our door with a welcome basket. We will miss his wonderful smile, his kindness, his generosity, his openness. He has left an amazing legacy in his wonderful and loving family. Rest in peace, dear Greg.

"A life well lived", that's what Greg would say. I will never forget his "voice" bounding over the crowd of student's and parent's on visitation days at SUNY Delhi. Greg always made you feel important and respected. I will miss his endless energy and compassion for people. Godspeed Greg.<3 Ginny Bell

People are blessed when someone like Greg passes through their lives. Katherine and I were so graced in knowing Greg. I particularly enjoyed his unique style as lector at St. Peter's. He is a special person as is his wife, Jean. He is gone but not forgotten. May the peace of the Lord be with the family. Katherine and Tom O'Connell
My condolences to the Krzyston family during this sad time. Gregory Krzyston was the first person I met when I was hired to teach history at SUNY Delhi in 2003. He welcomed me to the college with open arms and introduced me to my future colleagues as if I were his best friend. I had numerous conversations with Greg over the years and I always found him to be a kind, friendly, respectful, and spirited individual. Greg was a good person who always went out of his way to say "hello" and ask about you and your family. Rest in peace, old friend.
