Obituary of Paul Gonsalves

DELHI Paul A. "Gonzo" Gonsalves, 55, of Delhi and Croton-on-Hudson, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 30, 2011 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown. He was born on April 24, 1956 in Tarrytown, the son of Alfred and Doris (Brundage) Gonsalves. He will be remembered in the hearts and minds of many people. Paul is survived by a son and daughter in law, Mark and Crystal Gonsalves of Davenport; 4 grandchildren, John, Kayla, Arianna and Serena Gonsalves of Davenport; a daughter Amy Gonsalves of Oneonta; 2 sons, Jordan and Alex; a brother and sister in law, Tom and Jackie Gonsalves; and 2 sisters and brothers in law, Theresa and Keith Trendell, and Sharon and Jerry Dykeman. Friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the MacArthur Funeral Home, Delhi. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Delhi, with Rev. Edward J. Golding officiating.
