Obituary of Dolores Fortier

STAMFORD _ Dolores Fortier, 75, of Stamford, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta. Dolores was born on Feb. 12, 1936, in Catskill, the daughter of Myrtle (Scism) and Albert Ostrander, predeceased. She married Lawrence Fortier. He predeceased her in September 1977. She was a housewife and a mother, and enjoyed playing bingo, cards and watching SpongeBob. She also loved to visit with her family and friends. She was the loving mother of five children, sons, Lawrence Fortier (Karen), William Case Jr., daughters, Kim Karg (Eric), Pam Davis, Farrah Raeder (Jesse). She is survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters; and two brothers. She was predeceased by two brothers; and two sisters. A memorial time will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at the United Methodist Church in Grand Gorge with Pastor Dotti Morris, officiating.
