My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Richard was a wonderful person and I am glad to have known him
I wish I’d gotten to meet you in person, Richie. You were my go to source for entertainment ideas when stuck at home. Your kindness always shined through your posts. You will be so missed.
Sending thoughts and prayers to Richie's family. So sorry for your loss He always took time to stop and visit if happened to be going by our house. Rest in peace. Elaine Sickler
I have so many memories with you over 38 years of friendship. At one point our paths went different ways and we lost touch for a half dozen years or so. Without missing a beat when we crossed paths again it was like no time had passed at all, we picked up right where we left off and have been together since. You have always been available for a talk on the phone or a drop in visit day or night. I wish I wasn't so far away and I wish was able to see you just one more time. You are a once in a lifetime friend, I have been blessed to have you in my life for all these years. I will hold you close to my heart, you will be deeply missed and I will love you always. My love is now with your family, as I know how devastating a loss losing you is on them, because I am feeling it too.
When I met Richie I was a new widow and he was such an amazing kind person we shared the same humour and love of cats I loved Allie and when Groucho came along it was beautiful watching how he went from a stray to lovable cat bed of Richie’s kindness and love I’ll forever think of you my friend thank you for all the support and kindness you were my friend throughout sickness thank you for everything you were simply the best person
So sad to hear of Rich's passing. I worked with him at Fox on 2 North. The communitys loss of a great person who treated all with kindness and lead by example, not just words. He truly will be missed.
May you rest in peace bother for now I know you are with the Lord and no more suffering. John 11:25-26 " I' am the resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in me, though they die will live and whoever lives and believes in me will never die." You were more than a close friend, but like a brother. We had great times together hunting and fishing and those times I will never forget. Hope to see you someday again.
