I was sad to read this obit. This happy face brought back great memories from my years on staff at SCS. Fred's classroom was just down the hall from mine, so we shared frequent chats and after-school coffee, where staff relaxed before departing for the day. I send deepest sympathy to all the family for your loss. Fred will be missed by many.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my high school science teacher. I graduated from Stamford Central School in 1976, and I so vividly remember Mr. Doyle. He had such passion and energy in the classroom. He made science interesting and taught in a way that we were able to understand. He instilled a love of science in me that resulted in me studying science in college. He always kept class interesting! Mostly, he cared about the students he taught. I am grateful for the influence he had in my life. I will be praying for his family during this time of loss and grief.
