To the family of my Aunt Lil-
Our deep and most heartfelt sympathy to the entire family for the loss of their Mom & Grandmother.
Aunt Lil was a special lady who loved caring for her family, her home and also truly enjoyed her work at the local school.
As a young teen she was often our family babysitter either at our home, or at our grandparents home on Baker St in Oneonta, where her family grew up. We enjoyed many good times there.
When she moved to Bloomville she often invited our family over for parties and BBQ's that were great fun at her house on the hill.
I asked her to be my son Jeffery's Godmother, and she asked me to be her youngest daughter, Colleen's Godmother. She was a very special Aunt to both Kim and Jeff.
Later on, after my Mom(her sister - Sissy) and my Dad (Mike) had passed, she would call me just to talk. I appreciated that, and loved our little chats. Sometimes we would run into each other at a some place in Oneonta and she always had a big smile and a happy greeting. We last saw her just before Christmas where we enjoyed that big smile and a holiday greeting.
We will miss those wonderful special moments.
God bless you Aunt Lil.
Your niece,
Linda Mongillo Wheeler
