Although I have known about Bill and his family for many, many years I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting him and dear Maryann until November last year. What an honour that was! Just like all of the stories that are told he welcomed my husband and me into his home as though we were long lost family, which we were! That ‘H’ in his name stands for ‘Hughes’ and signifies Bill’s Scottish heritage and links us forever. Somethings surprise and when I first met Bill last year I was taken aback as I felt I was looking at and talking with my very own grandfather. There is no mistaking their facial similarity and also to my own dear departed father.
It was such an honour to meet Bill and Maryann and Jason and other extended family members so recently. You can’t see my grief from such a distance but I am sharing it with everyone who is also grieving but also giving thanks for the gift of the lives of Bill and Maryann and all they gave to make the world a better place. RIP loved relatives. Vicki from Adelaide, Australia
