I will miss Dick so much, It is difficult to describe the depth of my sadness. A great cow man. A great Meryl Haggard fan. A great family man. I still think of him often in my daily travels. What he would say, and how he would say it.

I am so glad we got a chance to speak this morning. I am still struggling to conceive of a world without my all time favorite curmugeon. Dick and I could almost finish each other's sentences - be it a wise ass comment or something a little crotchety. I am sure your girls must be struggling. He gave them such a rock solid foundation to launch from - just that unwaivering love combined with pragmatic perspective. I am so glad I got to visit you both last spring and get caught up on some of the many stories he had to tell. The twinkle in his eyes when speaking of each of the grandchildren - Many folks would do anything to have someone sparkle like than for them (me included).

You have been blessed. and crap, now I'm crying again.

Becky I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great guy who always had a twinkle in his eye. I have so many fond memories of you both. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I had the privilege to know and work with Dick for ten + years when he serviced our pumps and systems at FrieslandCampina. I have to say I completely adored that man as did numerous of my colleagues. He was so knowledgeable and what a hard worker. Occasionally would run into him during games or in the supermarket and would get his great hugs ❤️ Please know the entire family are in our prayers and thoughts. Sincerely Sandy Dacey
