Condolences
Dear Tom Beverly and the entire Tompkins family,
It is with great sadness that we’ve learned of the passing of beloved dad, father, grandpa, companion and friend and neighbor Norward. We met Norward over twenty years ago when we moved into our BlackBerry Street home. He stopped by to say hello and welcome and when we commented that our street was “a little bit of heaven” he said we didn’t have to remind him. He spoke of the pleasure he took from looking across the valley and viewing the field he’d hayed just that morning. This was very much the way he always appeared to live life. He loved family, delighting in telling us of upcoming reunions. He enjoyed working, whether driving school bus or inspecting new construction. He loved folks and everyone loved him! Please know that while he’s found a place in a even better heaven we will miss him dearly in this one. With love,
Lester & Ronnie Steinberg
Tomi and Gary, I was saddened to hear about your Dad passing. So many fond memories of the times spent with your family. May your love and memories keep him alive in your hearts forever ❤️
