Dear Cousins,

With sincere sympathy on the death of Norbert. What a long life he had! Wishing happy memories to comfort you at this sad time, especially with the holidays approaching.

Norbert's mother, Rose (nee Schlageter) was the oldest sister of my dear grandfather, Andrew Francis Schlageter (1901-1995).

My father, Andrew Bruce Schlageter (1924-2011), and Norbert were first cousins. "Bruce," as my dad was called, loved his family and was an avid researcher of family connections; he left us with much information of our Schlageters.

And so I reach out to you, Christine and Gerard, with condolences and heartfelt sympathy.
