Obituary of Allan P. Tiltti

Allan Philip Tiltti, 76 of the Bronx, NY passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021.

He was born in Brooklyn Naval Hospital to the late Philip and Helvi Tiltti. Allan was very proud of his Finnish heritage.  The Finnish word Sisu means strengh, courage and stamina, which describes Allen's soul. 

Allan served in Vietnam in the United State Navel Construction Battalions better known as the Navy Seabees for four years and was retired from the Federal Customs Service where he served for 30 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years: Carol Tiltti; daughters: Tara Ann and (son -in-law) Louis DeGiorno of the Bronx, NY, Tracy and (son-in-law) Roger Loveless; grandchildren: “Maggie” Magdalena, Louis III DeGiorno, Roger, Joseph, Peter, Paul, Isaac, Isaiah and Stephen Loveless; nieces: Amanda Tiltti of New Windors, NY, Kristen Tiltti of Conrnoll, NY, and Sara Palau of Bronx, NY; nephews: Seth Tiltti and wife Lias of FL, Taylor Stovall and Joshua Palau of NY;  sisters-in-law: Janet and Loui Fernandez of NC, Joy Tirado of Andes, NY; brother in-law: Michael Tirado; and mother in-law: Alice Tirado of Brooklyn NY.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 1-3PM on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Delhi, NY 13753.  Graveside funeral services will full military honors will be held at 12PM on Monday, August 16, 2021 at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Wounded Warrior Project, Stroke American Heart Association or your local humane society.
