Duane W. “Bill” Pindar, Jr., 70, of Potter Mountain Road, Conesville, passed away after an extended illness on Tuesday July 27, 2021 at Albany Medical Center.

He was born on August 4,1950 in Stamford, NY, the son of the late Duane and Edna (Dean) Pindar, Sr.

Bill, a/k/a “Fingers” was a jack of all trades working as a meat cutter, mechanic, carpenter and mason. In the years following, he processed deer for the local community. He was a motorcycle enthusiast from an early age, loved Harley and Indian motorcycles. He rode with his biker family for many years. Nobody could work a carburetor like Fingers. He could be found at every family party enjoying a cold beer and greeting everyone with “Yo-Dee-Yo-Dee-Yo”.

He was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting, fishing, and trapping. He liked to ride around the hills and sit outside his home overlooking the fields in search of all game and birds. Bill enjoyed working with leather and making knives. No one could sharpen a knife like Fingers.

Bill is survived by his sister Barbara Lord of Greenville, SC and sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Jim Dolan of Oneonta, NY; Children: Danny Pindar of Schenevus and Coy Pindar of Tunkhannock, PA.; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; nieces and nephews: Cindy Bucci Lazarek of West Winfield, John and Stephanie McMullen, Jr., of Davenport, Michael and Kathryn Schmiedel of Prattsville, and Christine Schmiedel of Juliette, Idaho; and many friends from his biker family.
