Condolences
Dear Lorri and family,
I am saddened to hear of Steve's passing. He was a wonderful friend in high school. I remember all his beautiful drawings and paintings from art class that we had together. I used to write to him all the time when he was stationed in germany.you two came to my wedding in massachusetts, and a month or two later I got to come to yours. He was so thoughtful, that he sent me a beautiful music box from Germany for my birthday...I still have it. And when his birthday rolled around a couple months later I gave him a pocket watch with a deer on it. I hope he kept that. I wish I could be there to say a few words in person. He was a wonderful, caring man. A real good guy. He will be missed
My condolences

Our hearts are broken with this news. Our children are our future and we're not to bury them first. This hurt effects all the family; your siblings as well as Steve's direct family. We are all part of one family.
We did not know Steve; but Lorraine you were one of "our kids" growing up together in the farm community; we understood each other and we understand this hurt too.
May our God of all comfort stand with you in the months and years to come as you carry forward without Steve by your side.
With Sympathy; Howard and Carol Visscher
My deepest sympathy to Steve's family. Steve was one of my best friends in high school. We ran cross country, attended shop classes and art classes together. I remember discussing his decision to join the Air Force. He was a terrific friend. We even shared a birthday. Same day and year. He will be missed. Rest in peace Steve.
Steve, your life was cut way too short and has left a hole in our hearts. I will always remember the times growing up when you were busy cleaning the family room. I would say "yup you're cleaning the family room, to go over to Wayne's house." I caught on to that, but the room was clean and I didn't have to do it. I loved that. We have so many memories together, it's hard to think of all of them now as I'm writing this to you. One that's funny that sticks out in my mind is when we were young. It was winter and I watched you freeze your tongue to the metal railing outback. I wondered why you did that? Mom came out to help, but then the next thing you know I did it too. "Yup it does stick." How I laugh about that now, how silly. Then there was your long eyelashes. I remember when we were waiting for the school bus. I would always pick on you every couple of days, and say "wow you have such long eyelashes, any girl would love to have them, especially me" and we would laugh.
You've always assisted Dan and I when we needed help with our home improvement projects. You never asked for anything in return. I will always remember at all my family functions on how you would always pick out the onions and peppers from my salads. There would be this pile on your plate and you would never say a word. Upon arrival to our family gathering, you would freeze and stand there as if no one saw you, but guess what we always did.
I will always hold a place in my heart for you and cherish all of our fond memories. Love you will all our hearts, as you will be watching from above.
Love Sandy and Dan.
We're deeply saddened by Uncle Steven's passing. We cherish our Memories of him and all of his stories. You might not be here with us but you'll always be in our hearts.
My deepest sympathy to Sandy, David and the entire family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
So sorry to hear about Steven. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Lorri and family,
Dave and I are so sorry for your loss. Steve was a wonderful guy and know we are praying for you at this time.
Love you
I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Our hearts go out to everyone who knew, and loved him. We all feel the pain of his untimely passing. We all must remember the good times we had with him and talk about him often. We should also take this moment to learn from him. By taking the time to listen to others, to not speak badly about other people, to get outside and enjoy nature. He was such a kind soul to everyone around him. We need more people like him in this world.
I have many great memories of Uncle Steven (working in the summer with him at Delaware County DPW- carpooling and being on the same crew, rides to the farm, and going to the tractor pulls at the Walton Fair) just to name a few.
My condolences to everyone who knew and loved him, especially to my Aunt Lorri and cousins Ryan (Nikki, Kyler, Beckett and Emmy), Kristen, my Grandparents my Uncle David and my Mom. We will get through this time of sorrow together and by never forgetting him. It's not goodbye, it's see you later.
We are sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts are with you. Sharon & Bill Moyse
