Obituary of Wayne J. Andrews, Jr.

On Monday, June 8, 2020, Wayne Joseph Andrews Jr. died peacefully in his home in Harpersfield.

Wayne was born July 1, 1949, in Oneonta, to the late Wayne Joseph Sr. and Catherine Theresa Andrews (McMahon).

He attended Oneonta High School where he excelled in academics and lettered in basketball.

Throughout his life he held several management positions and retired from Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals in 2014.

Wayne was a family man and a lifelong sports enthusiast, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and

golf.

He is survived by his wife, Christine; four children: Steven, Michael, Michelle, and Mary; and one grandson: Nicholas.

Wayne was predeceased by his beloved parents, Wayne J. "Pete" Sr. and his mother, Catherine Theresa.
