Herbert W. Klumpe, Jr.
1929 - 2018
Condolences
I am sorry sorry for your family's loss. I doubt you remember me - the last time we saw one another, I was probably about 9 years old. I was Eddie Wywuirka's great nephew, Ron Hitzler. My brother, Scott, and I used to play with Herb, Catherine and Caroline when we came to visit my uncle in the summers. I don't know what made me think about your family tonight, but I suddenly felt compelled to search your name. You (your family) were a fond memory that I had not thought about in many many years. Notwithstanding the passing of your father, I hope the years have been kind to you all - you were a very nice family. May God smile upon you, and bless you all.

Evelyn and family,
Sorry for your loss. Herb is a good man. He means well. I remember the times I visited the farm when I was a Milk Tester for DHI.
My condolences to your family.
Our sincere condolences to Herb's family. We both were fortunate enough to have known him for many years. Sid use to pick up milk at the farm and Patty knew him, not only through Sid, but had the honor to know him while he worked for Delaware Opportunities. He was a wonderful person.
In our lives we share friendships with some spectacular folks. Herb was the honest
representation of a few of of these memorable people I have had the good fortune to meet.
When ever Herb and I would meet He would greet me with a firm hand shake and a verbal
greeting. "Was macht's du". And who could deny his smile that would warm the coldest of
souls. Of course Herb was more then a superficial fellow. By todays standards, much more.
Herbs family were the recipients of a formidable Father and Husband. The key was
LOVE. Herb unlocked the hearts and minds of all the members of His family with that love.
And so many times he unlocked my heart in the many conversations we shared down thru
the years we knew each other. He reminded me of another similar person. Cut from the same
cloth. My Father. Gretchen and I will feel the emptiness of His passing. "Auf……………...
So sorry for your loss at this time. I remember visiting the farm as a child, having the time of my life. Thank you for having us over for a grand family time together. I trust that as time goes on, you too can reflect back on the grand times.
Dear Evelyn and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. May God speed your healing.
Love,
Robin, Lex, Kyle and of course Leslie, who was waiting with open arms to guide him home.
Dear Evelyn and Family, sending thoughts and prayers to you at this difficult time. Dick and Loni
Dear Evelyn and family;
We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved husband and father, We will really miss seeing him and discussing things at the family reunion. We regret that we are in Florida and will not be home until March 10, so we cannot be at Herb's ceremony. We will be thinking about all of you and will plan to get over to see Evelyn soon after we get home. We hope the big snow storm doesn't make the next few days too difficult for you.
God bless and know that our prayers are with you. Herb was a great man and will be greatly missed by all!
