Liz and i were great friends at Antioch College and in London England. She recommended I take a class at NYU she had just completed herself. The class was beginning television and it change my life and started my lifelong career. I will surely miss all the good times we had in another life, as Liz was a sweet kind loving woman. I am very sad and hope all her loved ones will be protected by her caring forever love. billy

We are so sad to hear of Liz's death. We spent some joyful times with her when she stayed at our house while Pepa was at St. Lawrence. She was really a great friend of the family and spent much time at the Smith camp In Cazenovia, NY. She will be missed.

I just came home from a medical procedure and was told by a mutual friend, Amber Tatnall, that Elizabeth had passed away. My sincerest condolences to her entire family and all those she touched in her life. I have had the wonderful pleasure of knowing Elizabeth for many years via my work at The Arc of Delaware County where she helped create paths for learning and inclusion for the people we support at The Arc of Delaware County via the O'Connor Center at SUNY Delhi. We had become much more than just work related associates, but friends in every manner of speaking. We enjoyed our time in and out of "work"...I learned so much from her and her giant heart, soul and bravery. The obituary just covered the surface of all her wonderful qualities. Her deep creativity, honesty, and compassion were limitless. My very best to Milan, Joseph, Jennifer, Lin, Rick and her Mom, Trudy. I hope that some day we will have a chance to meet each other. I am so sorry to hear of Elizabeth's passing. She and I worked together years ago when I was on the board of the Upstate History Alliance, and I was so happy to see her again at a conference in Oneonta in 2016, having both moved into the field of higher education.

Elizabeth always had a warm smile, encouraging words, and an absolutely wonderful, unforgettable laugh. My daughter is headed to Delhi this fall and I was hoping Elizabeth would be there to guide her.

It was a joy working with Elizabeth at SUNY Delhi. We had such a great time participating in Live Fit, working together on the same team. We would talk while walking on the treadmill, went sleigh riding in sub-below weather and snow shoed countless miles. Elizabeth was such an inspiration to many. Fly high Elizabeth!

The first time I met Elizabeth, we talked about New York City and realized that we had a close mutual friend, and had even stayed in the same apartment at different times. We felt connected from that first meeting. She was incredibly generous and positive and kind. She was a gentle soul, with endless love and the capacity to give. I could do no better on this earth than to be the kind of person Elizabeth was. I will miss her. Rest in peace, dear friend. Rest in peace.
