It was always a great pleasure to see Rolf at the Siebert Sisters' Reunion. He always had a smile on his face and he loved life. He was humble and quiet but loved to talk about his woods and the wood he would harvest. I used to talk to him about his Merchant Marine service. They were harsh conditions but after that most things must have seemed easy. You could tell he was industrious, he was always fit and lean. I was so happy to see how happy Rolf made Gail and vice versa. May his memories soothe Gail and the family and brighten their spirits each day.
Dear Aunt Gail, We are so sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed spending time with you and Rolf. We especially enjoyed our time together at the Lake house for the Siebert girls reunion. Rolf always had a twinkle in his blue eyes. We know how difficult a time this must be for you. We hope you can find comfort in the wonderful memories you and Rolf made together.
We also send our condolences to Rolf’s children, Solveig and Roy, as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Much Love, Beth and Kathy

To my dear friend, Gail and your lovely family, Mike and I send our heartfelt condolences on the passing of wonderful Rolf. Mike and I knew Rolf in his later years through Sons of Norway. We enjoyed every moment together with Rolf and Gail at those events. Rolf’s gentle demeanor and kind spirit always had us looking forward to the next time we’d meet. My nickname for Rolf was “Old Blue Eyes” because his eyes and smile lit up every room. Rolf will be missed yet we know we will meet again. May the Good Lord bless each of you with His Comfort and Strength. Love and blessings, Karin Gudbranson McCadam
